I think blogger is a great place to start blogging. Of course there are many other places to start. If you HATE blogger, try bloglines, as it includes an RSS reader (My RSS reader is bloglines)
Blogging with blogger is cool because the best way to learn it is to follow this link and set up an account and start blogging. My Mom did it for crying out loud.
