Quite simply, after a day's travel we check into a campground instead of a hotel. Alaska is a beautiful place to camp. Hotels are extremely expensive. It makes perfect sense.
Group size is limited to twelve adults (Children 10 and over may join our family safari). With a group this size we can be flexible in our daily routine.
You'll have time for independent activities, but there will always be a friend or two to join you if you like.
Our tours are designed for the first time camper as well as the experienced outdoors person. We provide the tents and other camping equipment. All you need to bring is a sleeping bag and pad.
I worked with this tour company in 1998 when I was in McCarthy. It's a great way to see the off the beaten track of Alaska. The small groups and the personal guide / driver is the best way to go.
