I've found quite a few great maps online and wanted to share them with you here. A map helps me to visualize myself in a place. I can spend hours going over the diagrams and studying the maps. Especially with Google Earth you can zoom in and out, view different features and overlays.

I've include links to web maps and .kmz Google Earth files. You really should use Google Earth, if you haven't tried it. It's simply fantastic. Using GoogleEarth to zoom around the globe feels somewhat like flying - except without taking off your shoes for a security check or getting airsick!
